Good news for those who have been missing Mallika Sherawat’s super hot onscreen kisses! The lady is back in the ‘murderous’ mode again with several lip-locking scenes in upcoming film ‘Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam’. The hot babe is paired opposite ‘unconventional’ hero Rahul Bose and they share many intimate scenes in the film.

Earlier, the duo was seen in the well-received film ‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’, where they scorched the screen with their sizzling scenes, hot kisses and scorching chemistry. They are to do ‘it’ again in Sanjay Chhel’s ‘Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam’.

“Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam” is a mad riot involving a drama troupe - Kalakar Natak Company that produces socially relevant plays, which no one understands and nobody sees. Mallika plays the role of an unscrupulous upcoming actress. A parody of the song, ‘Pyar kiya to darna kya’, has also been filmed on Mallika, which is said to be one of the highlights of the film.

Director Sanjay Chhel, who has already won accolades for dialogue writing in ‘Partner’, is leaving no stones unturned for “Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam”. Rahul Bose is to essay six roles in the movie. He is to play a daredevil officer of an intelligence agency, Mughal prince Jahangir, an underworld don, a Nawab from Hyderabad, dumb deputy of a gangster and also a don’s bodyguard.

After ‘Murder’ and ‘Khwahish’, in which Mallika’s ‘oomph’ factor took Bollywood by the storm, here is another film that is sure to make our filmdom ‘kiss crazy’!

Bollywood’s latest hot property features on the cover page of Filmfare July 2008 edition. For Vidya Balan, this is the third time that she’s become the cover-girl of this popular film magazine. Looking hot and sizzling in her all new glam look, the single-and-contemplating-if-to-mingle Vidya, arrived late at the launch of the issue. This time she had the rain gods to blame. Dressed in a black dress, it seemed like she is finally getting close to being stylish.

Talking about the various allegations thrust on her, according to the southern siren, the most absurd gossip was her decision to get a tattoo done. She laughed, “That was the most baseless rumour I’ve come across.” Always in the news for her varied ‘alleged’ love interests, perhaps its time for her to retaliate as many of her counterparts are doing. Ask her which medium she would choose and she says, “I have started getting on to the net, checking blogs. I am beginning to enjoy it as a new world has opened now.” So do we see another star venting out her frustration via blogging? Perhaps yes. Vidya says, “I love to write. So may be if I had a little more time in hand, I will (blog).”

Kareena is all set to be seen in an altogether different avtar for Yash Raj Film’s next production. Soon she would be heard as Laila and the film which would be giving her this platform is ROADSIDE ROMEO.

ROADSIDE ROMEO - Well, that’s the first ever animation outing for YRF where Kareena along with Saif Ali Khan would be giving a voiceover for the dogs. In fact it is going to be a Kareena v/s Kareena outing since ROADSIDE ROMEO would be arriving on the same day (i.e. 24th October) as GOLMAAL RETURNS in which she plays one of the leading ladies.

Though the first look of ROADSIDE ROMEO (featuring Saif Ali Khan’s voice) was revealed months back when this Jugal Hansraj film was slated for Summer 2008 release, a delay to Diwali has resulted in the makers arriving with a new promo with Kareena in focus this time around. As Laila, the female dog who comes to give an audition for a heroine’s role, Kareena gets the right ‘ada’ in place to demonstrate the naughty-yet-smart streak.

She doesn’t just tease the casting director with her monosyllabic yet confident replies; she also intimidates him with her smartness. Not just that, she also flutters her eyelashes when the right time arrives and gives a lot more than just a simple message when the director probes deeper into skills. How exactly? Well, she just replies that she knows ‘everything - just about everything’!

Paving a way for far more interesting things to come as the film arrives in entirety; the special promo of ROADSIDE ROMEO arrives along with the just released DVDs of TASHAN and is also expected to be plugged along with the prints of BACHNA AE HASEENO.

ROADSIDE ROMEO is slated to be the biggest animation movie ever coming from the house of Yash Raj Films with music by Salim-Sulaiman. The other star attraction of the film is Javed Jaffrey who also gives a voiceover for a dog.

The Global Premiere of the film was held at Cine World Feltham in London on July 2, 2008. The Premiere, hosted by the London distribution office of BIG Pictures, was attended by the debutant male lead, Harman Baweja, the leading lady, Priyanka Chopra, the versatile Boman Irani and the Producer Director, Harry Baweja. Priyanka was dressed in a black dress, looked beautiful with co star Harman who was equally dashing in his black tuxedo as they walked the red carpet.
Speaking on the occasion of the release, Producer Director Harry Baweja said, “It is an extremely emotional day for the whole cast and crew, who have worked tirelessly over the past two years in making of this film. When you set out to do something that has never been attempted before (genre wise or budget wise or scale wise), one comes across various challenges, which, while being obstacles also spur you to put your heart and soul into the project. Set against the backdrop of present day Adelaide (Australia) and Mumbai (India) in 2050, Love Story 2050 is India’s first sci fi film as well as one of the most expensive films ever made in the country.

Esha Deol opted out of an Emraan Hashmi movie, because Percept Picture Company wasn’t ready to pay her bigger bucks. According to a source at Percept, the actress walked out of the project she’d given the nod to. “These days, everyone wants to be Akshay Kumar even if he or she can’t gurantee returns,” says the source. Financial disputes Shailendra Singh of PPC confirms the news, “We expected Esha to be enthusiastic about the film. But she insisted on sticking to her perceived commercial fee. So we decided to let her go.”

Since the film already toplines Emraan Hashmi, Aditya Panscholi and Neha Dhupia, Singh has decided to launch a newcomer. “We’ll sign her for a five-film contract and make her star,” he says. “Going by the hype surrounding Love Story 2050 and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na there is a lot of excitement surrounding new faces. Percept has always been keen on promoting new talent.”

New beginning Singh declines to reveal the identity of his new protégée. “We’re in the process of getting the papers signed. In a couple of days, I’ll give you her name and photographs.” Incidentally, Esha Deol has given the dates that she had reserved for the movie to Shivam Nair’s Ghost Ghost Na Raha which pairs her with Rahul Bose. The film is being produced by PVR.

It has been just days since Amrita Arora has broken up with English cricketer Usman Afzal. Now the real reason for the split is unfolding. It is being rumoured that her decision had nothing to do with her career but a certain Hyderabadi businessman whom she has been seeing for quite some time. The man in question is not from the glamour world but one of the richest man in the city of Nizams.

Amrita actually rewrote the story her best friend Kareena Kapoor had written just about a year back. Just after dumping Shahid Kapoor, Kareena declared her love for Saif Ali Khan. It may be just a matter of time before Amrita declares about her new found love. No wonder it is often said “Birds of the same feather flock together”.

Shilpa Shetty’s benevolence won accolades during the Global Diversity Award 2008 function in London, where the diva sold her ‘kiss on cheek’ to raise charity money.

The actress won the prestigious ‘Global Diversity’ award along with British racing driver Lewis Hamilton for making significant contribution to the public appreciation and understanding of diversity. She also helped the organisers to raise 63,000 pounds for a charity - the Silver Star Appeal - that runs mobile diabetes assessment units.

Stepping in to galvanise the charity auction, a dinner with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown at Wembley, the Bollywood actress climbed up to the stage, took the mike and told the audience that the winner would get a “kiss from me”.

But Shilpa was quick to add, “It will be on the cheek. I don’t want my effigies burnt again.” She was obviously referring to the controversy over the Hollywood star Richard Gere kissing her on stage during an AIDS awareness event in New Delhi in April last year which resulted in some Hindu nationalists burning her effigies and slapping court cases against her and Gere in India.

A young admirer pledged 12,500 pounds for the dinner and picked up three kisses from the Bollywood star on the cheek as a bargain.

Being at the IIFA Awards was a happy time for the Bachchan family except that the Bachchan bahu –Aishwarya got some real punch in her system or something to that effect. According to a report in the Mumbai Mirror, the Aishwarya allegedly couldn’t keep her voice down during the recent IIFA awards.

On their way to attend the IIFA ceremony, Abhishek and Ash were seen walking down the stairs with actor Kunal Kapoor. The actress allegedly got a little too loud when Abhishek subtly asked her to keep her voice down.

Aishwarya, who wasnt in the mood to be told what to do, continued her high spirited chatter. Abhishek then took her to the lobby and spoke to her.

According to an eye witness things were quiet until Aishwarya began talking aloud again. She continued auguring at the top of her voice until Abhishek, sensing that the situation was getting embarrassingly out of control, beckoned his personal security guards and asked them to escort his wife to her room.

At a press meet, when asked about the incident, which made the news at the time Abhishek Bachchan said, “No i haven’t read it.”

Of course Hubby Abhi went blue in the face denying it. But what he did maintain was Ash was feeling a little under the weather. Abhishek said, “She is unfortunately down with German measles but she is much better and should be back to work from tomorrow.”

Aishwarya may be feeling a little under the weather, but the Bachchan trio certainly do have something to be happy about with the success of Sarkar Raj.

At the end of the day the audience is god for us. They determine the fate of the film and through the success of the film we come to know whether they’ve liked it or not.
